GMAC Bowl
1/6/2011

Consistently ranked as one of college football's best bowl games, the GMAC Bowl will feature an exciting new match-up in 2011 with a representative from the Mid-American Conference (MAC) against one from the Sun Belt Conference.

Home to the highest-scoring bowl game in NCAA history, a 64-61 double-overtime thriller won by Marshall against East Carolina in 2001, the contest has also featured stars such as LaDainian Tomlinson, Byron Leftwich and Ben Roethlesberger during its first ten years.

GMAC Bowl Week in Mobile also features special events attended by national sports celebrities, a giant Mardi Gras parade and special team and community functions. The contest will also be nationally-televised by ESPN.
